New Holland Walleye Run Malted Rye Whiskey

An easy sipping rye. Heavy notes of sweet green apple and caramel. Spice and citrus and on the finish. It's not super spicy, but it's present enough. There's no real complexity here. It's on the thinner side. Not much lingers on the palate. But it's a solid sweet rye.

The malting adds a lot of sweetness to this rye. Really like this tamed-down rye.
