New World Distillery Ogden Nine Rails

This is pure vanilla and butter scotch on the nose and then up front on the taste it gives way to oats and then a rye grassyness that holds up even in an old fashioned cocktail I give it a five not because it’s a perfect example of bourbon but because it’s unique yet still has the upfront flavor you expect from a bourbon whilst bridging the rye gap in a unique way. GREAT WHISKEY!

Almost comes across like a gin. Earthy, grass.
