An intense, Grappa crafted with Chardonnay with copper stills, aged in barriques for 12 months, before being bottled at 41% ABV with zero color additive. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grape pomace, wood, nuts, herbs & spices; while a bold life adds notes of black raisins, black currants & almond pastry; that led to a warm & balanced death of medium length with a touch of oak, vanilla, cinnamon & dark chocolate. 5: It has some interesting herbal notes that taste like a forest mixed with a sickeningly cherry-flavored wood presence. A bit of licorice is there, reminding me of a much more peaceful Jagermeister. There is a lot of depth here and the flavors work well together, but I don't like them. It's a lot like a drier A De Fussigny Selection. Very weird.
In the aroma I get some wet wood, funky dirt, fruity, and sweet. I taste everything I smell along with some oakiness and wet grass. It’s like a camping trip in my mouth. To me these are all wonderful smells and tastes and I love it.
Pale amber. Chocolate, earthy. Strong dried fruit, raisin, dried fig, almond. Medium+ body, hot, dried fruit finish. Like a lighter, more alcoholic port!
