Tremendous oak. Cedar. Burnt sugar. Anise. Tannic, though it may be previous pours. Nose of cherries. And brown caramelized sugars. Strawberry on the nose too. Light medium body. So good it makes me frown. Coffee finish? Milk chocolate. This is real time mofos. Orange peel. Mouthfeel has some short-lived chew followed by I don’t have the words. Wife loves me enough to pay for a pour. Smell of light cinnamon, bright with red berries. Really milking this for u f-ers. Tannic but tasty. Last sip! Ready? Perfume strawberry scent. Shortbread cookies smell. Sip of water. Vanilla frosting smell. Orange zest. Taste has a good amount of orange and cocoa dust. That dust is the drying. You live to live?
About this bottle
This bourbon bottling is named after the O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. Distilled in 1993, this Kentucky straight bourbon aged for 25 years before bottling in 2018. Like previous releases, this bourbon will arrive in a wooden display box containing a provenance card. Inside the wooden box lies a crystal bottle with real copper lettering in-laid in the bottle with a hand applied paper label. O.F.C. Vintage Bourbon 1993 is available in limited availability beginning December 2018.
