Nose: first smells… green. I picture a field and a little pond. After it breathes and I take a first sip I pick up more of the oak and traditional bourbon smells. Very interesting to me. I can’t get a deep enough whiff of this. Color: dark. (I don’t really understand color yet… so, yeah looks real good clear, dark amber. Real nice color.) Legs: Thick. They are slow, so slow. And thick. This means it’s oily? Pallete: (I’ll have to edit this later - ) it’s great. I’ve been trying to figure out the difference between good bourbon and ok bourbon. The only thing I can say for certain is the “purity” of a sip… On the finish, or at least at the back of my throat, ok bourbon ($24-60) has a harsh, bitter taste. Like it’s burnt maybe…. This, doesn’t have that it’s clean all the way through. Such a pure taste.

Super strong spicy kick that gives you the nice woody taste from the barrel. Packs a very very strong punch in the finish. The initial taste is unexpectedly pleasing
Very sweet, bright, and juicy, left my mouth watering with each sip. Citrus, honey, apples and orchard fruits, sweet caramel and candy corn.
Unique flavor profile. Added a drop of water and butterscotch notes came to forefront with traditional MGP flavors.
Honey and Molasses, get a sense of being thick.
