Wheat N’Rye debuted in 2023 as part of the Master’s Blend series from Old Elk Distillery, crafted under the direction of Master Distiller Greg Metze. The blend combines a 7-year straight wheat whiskey made from 95% wheat and 5% malted barley with a 6-year straight rye whiskey distilled from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is bottled at 108.4 proof.

Taste more rye foward, good but notiing special to justify price. Got on sale for $59, which means no one else thought was worrth $100+ either. Honeslty many other bottles are superior in $50-$60 Range.
If you can try before ypu buy, you may save yourself 100+ bucks. A very nice pour but its a bit bitter near the end and the complexities of the blended profiles can be a bit much.
Started very hot but mellowed into tart and little woodiness in the end. Splash or cube may open more flavors. Happy with purchase those at just under $100
