Nose of cherry, vanilla, and lots of wood. Dark caramel in color. Very small burn up front disappears quickly. Corn, vanilla, fruit, and some wood on the palate. Great balance but doesn't linger for very long.
About this bottle
Old Forester is the longest running bourbon in production and in 2002 they introduced the Birthday Bourbon to the public. Released every year on or around September 2nd to coincide with George Brown's birthday this rye-focused bourbon has more than just a shared mash bill when it comes to the similarities with its close cousin Woodford Reserve.

Bursting with vanilla!! You like vanilla? Getcha a bottle! Smoldering wood fire on the finish. Sweet treat for sure.
Tons of vanilla creaminess to start followed by a peppery kick. Very easy to drink.
