The nose is dominated by artificial sweetness – showing notes of vanilla cake and marzipan – with subtler notes of juniper and pine bark. The same notes, all quite subdued, return on the palate. Very oily mouthfeel. Noticeable ethanol harshness on the attack and mid-palate, which then tapers off on the short finish. 1.75/5.00 – Quite Bad (neat)

About this bottle
This expression is a mixto style made from blue Weber agave grown in the southern part of the Los Altos region in Jalisco, with unspecified added ingredients. The agave is cooked in a combination of stone ovens and autoclave, and fermented without fibers in stainless steel tanks. It is twice distilled in a combination of copper pot and column stills, and rested in stainless steel before bottling. Bottle sizes and ABVs will differ from market to market. Note: Olmeca redesigned the packaging for its portfolio in February 2022, but the product is still the same.
