About this bottle
One Eight Distilling (based in Washington D.C.) got its name from Article One, Section Eight of the U.S. Constitution which states that a district can serve as the nation’s capital. The co-founders Sandy Wood and Alex Laufer both left other fields of work to join the distilling boom. No. 5 from their Untitled Whiskey Series is a four year-old sour-mash whiskey sourced from Tennessee. It is finished for four months in a Sandeman Tawny Port cask and bottled at 47% ABV.
