Papalin Jamaica

Aroma reminds me of a dirt trail through a lush tropical grove that leads to a small bay in NW Maui: humid with fruits on the tree and on the ground, in various stages of decomposition, filling the air with sweet, rotting fruits and flowers. Not your typical rum taste. More floral. Strong cinnamon finish that leaves the tongue with a buzzing feeling. Rating based on neat sipping.

Healthy but not outlandish amount of hogo with a dry mouthfeel, lighter in the overripe fruit notes than many funky Jamaican rums.
