Rich dark cherries on the nose with vanilla and butterscotch. Palate more of the same while adding some oak and general woody complexity to hold the high ABV at bay. Relatively mild and quick finish with the barest hints of allspice and clove. Was unsure of the hype but gotta say: Pappy delivers here; a beautiful yet forceful expression.
A great pour to share with friends and family. Has a lil heat to it up front but mellows out theough the transition to mid palate. Lil oak and maybe touch of sweet oak. Not my favorite of the pappy line up but still a solid pour
A sweet vanilla nose with caramel, pecan and oak wood. Smooth, mellow flavor consisting of robust wheat, cherries and oak. Features a long, smoky wheat finish with hints of fruit, spice and oak tannins
