This release is one of five whiskeys in the 2025 Estate Collection from Penelope Bourbon which features limited edition whiskeys. This Founders Reserve bottling consists of a batch of Kentucky straight bourbon (78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley) aged for 13 years in new, charred American oak barrels. Bottled at cask strength of 121.4 proof, there are 3,700 cases (3-in) available in select markets beginning September 2025. (SRP $199.99)

Interesting and unique. It starts with an astringent tinny medicinal mouthfeel similar to japanese whiskys like a yamazaki 12. The predominant flavor is burnt caramel but in a good way. As you acclimate its oaky subtle sweetness takes over and validates the price point. Well done
Penelope knocked it out of the park on this one! This is basically Knob Creek 18/21 on steroids! Nose: Toasted vanilla bean, caramel, dark fruits Palate: HEAVY Oak, honeycomb and baking spices Finish: Long and warm Kentucky hug MSRP: $199 - BUY IT!!
