What can I say, It's a peated scotch. Butterscotch, toffee, and a hint of pecan on the nose. Hint of green apple on tasting and you notice the ex-bourbon barrel aging process on the finish. Not terrible as far as scotch goes but not my thing.

The first sniff has strong notes of smoky peat and cherry fruit notes. First taste has smooth notes vanilla, licorice, and tobacco with a spicy pepper finish. Very little to no peat taste.
Day 3 of Flaviar tasting set - I'm not traditionally a scotch drinker, and this will continue to keep me from becoming one. Really not an inspiring dram.
Flaviar Advent Day 3- tasted blind. A pretty run of the mill scotch- peat, mildly smoky, some faint fruit (peach?) and a spicy finish. Not super smooth.
👃: peaty and briny 👅: strong initial vanilla notes give way to smoky and bitter notes 🏁: bitter but smooth with a hint of pepper
Flaviar day 3 - blind taste. Peat, dried fruit perhaps peach, floral. Not bad but a run of the mill scotch
