About this bottle
Puncher's Chance is a whiskey brand under the portfolio of independent producer Wolf's Spirit Distillery which is based in Oregon. The D12tance is a straight Tennessee bourbon made with a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. After aging for 12 years in new, charred American oak barrels the bourbon is then finished for two months in French oak barrels which formerly held California cabernet sauvignon wine. The D12tance launched in January 2022 with 2000 cases for the US market.

Neat, it’s full of baking spices and over ice it opens up a lot. Smooth finish. Don’t over-ice this as it mellows out the flavor way too much. Really enjoyed it and for a 12 year the price point and flavor is great. Cool bottle design too.
Whatever expert review was given for this, is crazy. It’s a decent bourbon but def not worth $120+ I’d say this is an average tasting bourbon.
For all y'all that doesn't 120 I'm sorry. Got mine for 90 and thrilled with it. So jammy with a touch of char and just enough kick.
Sweet at the start until the finish.
