Ragged Branch is a pretty solid Virginia distillery, and this is a great example of some of the good work they do. A wheated, double oak, barrel strength bourbon. Smooth, oaky and sweet throughout. Every sip has a slightly different profile pop up... alll good, but not consistent. Might be better (i.e. more consistent profile) if it sits for a few weeks after the neck is drank down. Even though I can not pinpoint specific detailed flavors (yet) its a great bourbon (so far).
