This whiskey is absolutely amazing — literally a top 10 of mine for this year’s releases (and I have a lot of contenders). This has notes of honey, cinnamon and caramel. Yes, we’ve seen this flavor profile before — but not like this! It’s amazing on its own, but on a sneaking suspicion I tried it in an old fashioned. It’s a little too sweet there, in my opinion but the spirit is amazing on its own! I’m gonna order a case or two before it’s too hard to get.

Really great Single malt. Very balanced whiskey, Wouldn't say any one thing sticks out its just got equal amounts of all whiskey flavors. not quite Scottish taste but also not fully American. Definitely a good go to standard whiskey. Medium bold flavor profile no spice, not too sweet. as I mentioned balanced.
This is one of the few Texas whiskeys that doesn’t taste like a hot rough wood forward overpowering corn flavored mess thats way too young and over priced. This whiskey taste a bit sweet but the flavors are nice and full. Well done.
Hints of cinnamon and vanilla. I agree with another reviewer in that it’s a bit too sweet for an old fashioned, but excellent neat.
