About this bottle
Originally a barley-growing estate, the Redlands Estate comes from an area once granted to George Frederick Read, outcast son of King George IV. Redlands represents Australia's first "paddock to bottle" whisky, one of two in the world, the other being Islay’s Kilchoman, and the barley they grow here has previously gone towards whiskies such as Lark Single Malts. This is double-distilled and unaged, but they do have an aged spirit on the way. It should also be noted that they produce brandy and schnapps at the distillery. This is sold in 375ml bottles at 100 proof and has limited availability.
