Rating: 7/23 This is a kind of watery sake, though at this price it could easily be used for cooking, so that may be acceptable. There are sweet, fruity, and floral flavors that overlay a bitter undertone. There is a long, mellow finish of rosewater underlaid by bitter vegetal tones. Unfortunately, the rosewater fades first. The taste has some depth, but there is not a ton going on here and it definitely tastes of alcohol. It's adequate low-end sake.

Aromas were a little sour almost vinegar. Overripe fruit. The sour was detectable on the tongue but a sweetness prevailed that took over especially on the finish. Better than I remember sake (in general) being.

Very flowery nose. Smooth and classic on the palette.
