Sazerac Rye (Noble Root select)

The nose starts with creamy oak, vanilla, fruity rye spice, and touches of cinnamon and spearmint. Very creamy and smooth for a rye. The palate is gentle and somewhat chewy, giving you a full taste of creamy and oaky rye spice. Cinnamon backs it up as vanilla rides in the background. It is a great balance of smooth and spicy, giving you a rye that is delicious and so easy to drink. The finish is medium long and mildly spicy. A remarkable value for whiskey, as oak and cinnamon fade.
