Skatterbrain Dark Chocolate Banana

A rich, Flavored Canadian Whisky by Universal Brands in Princeton, Minnesota from an extra aged Canadian whisky base. Natural flavors & caramel color are added before bottling at 70 proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of fruit, nuts, wood & spices; while a rich & syrupy life adds notes of butterscotch, caramel, dark chocolate & a hint of fresh banana; that leads to a rich & warming death of medium length with notes of pepper, oak, burnt sugar & anise. As expected. Aromas of fake banana and fake chocolate. Flavors about the same. Cacao is noticeable but I’m not sure it’s “dark”. I also picked up strawberry cheesecake. In both the nose and the palate. Short finish with some alcohol but a final taste of something trying to be chocolate.

Chocolate first banana next. And a spice bite for the final finish

Not my jam, you can definitely taste the chocolate and bananas

Very sweet, a dessert or sipping whiskey
