Bottle 1408 A rich, Straight Bourbon Whiskey by St. Sugustine Distillery in Florida crafted with a mash bill of 60% Florida corn, 22% barley & 18% Florida wheat; aged for a minimum of 3 years in American white oak barrels, that is then finish for 2 years in Apera Sherry casks before being bottled at 51.9% ABV. It has aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spces; while a rich & full life adds notes of raisin, saltd caramel & fig newtons; that led to a slightly creamy & nutty death of medium length with notes of pepper, oak, chocolate, peanut, coconut, tobacco & leather.
