Nose: maple, honey, maraschino, baking spice, honeysuckle. A lot to take in! Taste: Beginning js like an Aberlour or Dalmore. Wine cask kicks in toward the end. Tastes a little younger but bold, eager.
Nose: bourbon-ey smell - caramel and vanilla Palate: caramel, baking spice, plum Finish: dry and tannic More depth than their other standard offerings - very tasty
The wine from the barrel definitely makes an appearance but after that you get honey and caramel with some spice and floral notes, tiny hint of oak.
