Palate - Surprisingly oily, burnt vanilla, brown sugar, clove, cinnamon, black tea, and bitter spice. Finish is medium with black pepper, tannic oak, burnt black tea, orange peel, and medium ethanol. Fairly sweet smell. The high rye comes through on the palate. Mix if sweetnesss and spice. It wont compete with the best of thr best. But for the age profille and price it was quality.
