Tesco Special Reserve Blended Scotch Whisky

It is a true shame that “paint thinner” and “shit” are not flavour tags on this app, because quite frankly this “Special Reserve” manages to achieve both those tasting notes. Truly a huge leap for mankind and Tesco for that matter, to create a spirit so incomprehensibly crap, from what they claim to be a blend of the “finest single malt” and “highest quality grain Scotch whiskies”. Granted what else do you expect from an £18 whisky? But also granted, why go through effort of blending and oak aging something so quintessentially shit, then having the inane audacity to bottle it. I cant even think of a single reason to buy this, aside from a “Special Reserve” blend of sheer morbid curioisty and masochism. If youre looking for a cheap whisky mixer, pick up anything but this. If you’re looking for a cheap neat drink to finish the night, pick up some actual paint thinner.
