I received this as a part of the whiskey advent calendar. You’ll find Peat smoke on the nose. Tart and Smokey on the palette. Nice long finish that settles at the back of your throat and the top of your mouth.
Winey and strong nose. Not something I enjoy at all. The palate is blackcurrant and mild peat. The peat is far more pronounced on the finish. It was completely hidden from the nose. Strange.
Peaty nose. Complex flavor. Starts sweet, becomes bitter, and finishes caramely, with some harshness.
One of the better Boutique y whiskies. Flavour from the 13 year add complexity to the punch.
Peaty and a little tart. Some sweet but not much. Lingering peat on the tongue.
