TheWhiskeyJug 2.0

Aroma has this strange fruitiness that goes from oily to dried to stale and back again while sitting on a metallic/mechanical platter with bits of dessert sweetness floating around; Palate is almost cloyingly sweet but pulls back from that line thanks to some of the earthy notes and loses most of that metallic ping; Finish is done in a flash and leaves a banana chips note.

GoodSpiritsNews 2.8

Intriguing nose that has elements of fresh corn, vanilla, and a touch of citrus. In other words, sweet. And the flavor gives you even more of a sugar rush. this is kept in check somewhat by the oaky edge, but still a malt bomb. Short, sweet finish with a baked good essence. It’s a perfect introduction to a novice drinker, but overall, not what we’d expect from an Irish.

Tomuku 2.8

I feel like there was potential in this one but it missed the mark. I had high hopes since frequently single grain variants pull out some wonderful flavors. To be truthful, I was thinking and hoping it would be like how the Teeling single grain is far superior to the base, but this one isn’t.

Gator Epp 3.0

Notes of hay, oak, pear chips, vanilla, and a touch of caramel on the nose. Mouthfeel is oily, but not heavy. Palate has more vanilla, pear, and hay, accented by pine, honey, and lemon. Finish is short-medium. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat)

Rob Burke 4.3

A little harsh on the nose, some sweetness and vanilla. Sweet, vanilla, a little oily, the single grain stands out well. Simple and not complex. The ending is buttery and caramel.

ronaldtheriot 4.8

Clear, straw-yellow appearance. Aroma of sweet corn, vanilla, and oak. Similar flavor, with no bite. Medium body. Mostly-dry finish. RJT
