About this bottle

THE DEACON is a blended Scotch whisky made in collaboration with Sovereign Brands, a family-owned wine & spirits company, and spirits giant Pernod Ricard. Included in the blend are single malts from Islay and Speyside regions in Scotland. The bottle's packaging is inspired by traditional copper pot stills. Available in the US beginning February 2023. The Deacon Whisky (Blended Scotch, 40% abv) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 09/06/2024 Ankara Burun: Burunda hafif isli portakal kabuğu (narenciye) Damak: Damakta turba etkisi çok fazla hissediliyor. Belirgin tatlı bir Portakal, karamel. Yumuşak içimli.(Highland etkisi sanırım). Bitiş: füme bir tat damakta kalıyor. (İslay etkisi).Kısa-Orta uzunlukta bir bitiş. Dengeli isli bir karakter sunan The Deacon Whisky buz eklendiğinde tuzlu eşlikçilerle güzel bir yaz viskisi olur. Ayrıca benim gibi islay seven birisi için hafif gündelik bir viski. 80/100

Amarillo-dorado. Turbado aciruelado. Tocino. Sin mucha complejidad. Difícil de superar esta barrera. En boca amargo, grasoso. Cuero. Ácido. Sal. Aparece un frutal tenue. Final a chocolate amargo, salado. En retrogusto pipa. Con agua se abre bien, aparece un jamón crudo. Amargor neutralizado, resaltando el ahumado. Con agua sería un 3,5.

Melon, honeysuckle, peat, slightly smokey, and clove spice. Very pleasant and balanced. Beautiful silky texture. Definitely an experience throughout the sip. Light and sweet in the front, then the smoke, peat and spice show up on the back 9. This one punches above it’s weight class👍🏼.

Probably the best (within its price range) way to introduce a newbie to peated whisky. Has a bit of earthy tooth, but mitigated by its fruity sweetness. Plus a great looking packaging = a nice gift option

Very nice blended whisky. Rich on the nose, and very ballanced on the pallate. Good aftertaste. With a touch of smoky notes, nicely incorporated in Speyside sweetness. Definitely stays on my shelf.

Nice one! Daily drink! Edit: I bought it because of the bottle, which is better than "The Sexton".Best bottle, but plastic cap.... Really, are you serious?
