Famous Grouse Sherry Cask Finish

Aromas of medjool date, brine, clove, honey, ginger, and lemon pith. Round mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Flavours on the palate include more clove, brine, lemon, and ginger – plus subtle toffee and walnut. Finish is on the longer side. Somewhat lacking in intensity overall, but decent complexity, smoothness, and length. 3.25/5.00 – Quite Good (neat)

Although the starting notes are good, the ending is a bit harsh. It may disturb those who like soft drinks as it leaves a creamy taste on the palate. Still good whiskey.
