As any Amrut fan will tell you, 7 years for Amrut is not young. As a huge fan of the Indian malt I was ecstatic with all the tropical and cola flavors, but it had a subtlety with the macallan and glen Elgin that really smoothed out all the rough brashness Amrut can deliver in its own. To me it's a really cool idea and I was all over it. I think any Amrut fan should check this out for themselves if you want something unique.

About this bottle
The Edinburgh-based Fusion Whisky Limited only released 800 bottles of this expression across 15 markets globally. To make it, Master Blender of Adelphi Distillery, Alex Bruce, sourced 2 casks of malt whisky from Amrut Distillery in India and blended it with Speyside single malt whisky from Glen Elgin and Macallan Distilleries. He named it after his great-grandfather, the 13th Earl of Kincardine Victor Brouce, who became Viceroy of India in 1894. This Scotch-Indian hybrid carries an age statement of 7 years and is bottled at 52.9% ABV.
