Macallan 2007 9 year Speymalt (Gordon & MacPhail)

I've been quite harsh on Macallan prob as it hadn't delivered the goods for the price. This I like but still has the Macallan bitter finish however VFM has definitely improved. I'd say 3.75.

oak, maple and slightly fruity on the nose. smooth malt, caramel taste with a bit of black pepper. nice finish on the shorter side. very smooth and doesn't linger
