macallan single highland malt scotch whiskey 12 year old

A rich, Single Malt Whisky by the Macallan Distillery in Speyside, Scotland aged for a minimum of 12 years in Sherry oak casks from Spain. It has a rich birth with notes of dried fruit & spice; while a rich & full life adds notes of sweet cherry, oak, caramel & smoke; that led to a long & complex death with vanilla, dark honey & floral notes. June 2019 / August 2022

For being there base spirit, this is really good and creamy and smooth with a nice bite. Just a really good straightforward highland single malt.
