Bath #12. First off, I love the idea of local sourced grain. Small batch should mean small and that's the flavor you get with this Bird. With a mash bill of 60% rye, 30% wheat, and 10% malted barley and distilled in copper pot stills.. we are delighted with a smooth well made dram. Cranberry, leather and cigar box on the nose, rye on the tip of the tongue, wheat and an all spice finish with an oak note lingering. My favorite part is definitely the nose. Raisins and cranberries stand out and for a rye it's on the lighter spicy side of the spectrum, but definitely present. Creamy mouth feel makes it well worth the price. This whisky is worth seeking out! If you can find it.. I'd recommend trying Studio Bourbon out of Minnesota if one enjoyed this taste profile..

This one confused me a little, the nose and palate are the same, oak, sweet, peppery and no burn on either end!
This is a distinct rye. It’s got a subdued rye spice, malty, maybe i get caramel? Easy on the nose.
a decent rye, good for cocktails, straight is a lot of ethanol with simple rye spice
Nice balance of rye and soft creaminess of the wheat. Apricot and spice. Batch #8
Pretty good stuff. Love the cigar taste on the back end of the profile
