This is a Kentucky bourbon made from a mash bill of 78.5% corn, 12.5% rye, and 9% barley. It is matured a minimum 15 years in new, charred oak barrels. Note: proof varies with each batch release, typically around 107-118 proof.

Had this pour as a blind taste so had no idea at the time what it was when tasting it so it was fun to go in with an open mind. Nose: vanilla, buttered pecan and black tea Palate: caramel, vanilla and nice touch of oak Finish: clove, cinnamon spice and a hint of tobacco with a medium finish. For being 15 years old the oak was really nice without being overpowering.
Great nose, lots of vanilla but cask strength alcohol burn detracts from the tasting.
