The nose starts off smooth with gentle notes of charred oak and Sherry sweetness, with notes of smoke and leather, backed by sweet notes of brown sugar, toffee and vanilla. It is the best of both worlds as the nose is beautifully enticing to take a sip. The palate is exceptionally smooth with Sherry sweetness in a wave of charred oak smoothness feeling the mouth. Smoke, leather, vanilla and brown sugar back it all up for a very well-rounded treat. You feel like there's a lot going on, but in reality there isn't. It's just that everything is so rich and smooth, That it seems more complicated than it is. Finishes medium long and sweet, with Sherry sweetness lingering as oak, vanilla and a subtle spiciness gently fades away.
