This expression from Matsui Whisky is named for the region where Kurayoshi Distillery is located. Here, its sourced components are blended and matured in a variety of used white oak casks, with approximately half the blend consisting of malt whisky. It is bottled at 86 proof.

Nose: Citrus, lemon, cream, malt Palate: Malt, bread, nuts, black pepper Finish: Short finish. Citrus, cereal, wood. Souring lemon on the aftertaste This is a really easy to drink blend of grain and malt from Japan and Scotland. Tastes exactly like what it is, a pretty decent blend.
Nose: floral, sherry, herbaceous and rose petal, light Body: light-medium Palate: very light, honey, grainy maltiness with spice on the end. Finish: short Note: very very light and simple. Like the ex bourbon I wonder if this has rice in it, has a sake undertone. Wheated malt.
Ok so I’m new to this and at first I got a green apple and light caramel smell. It reminded me of Jose Cuervo (yes not a good comparison) However, after I tasted it I got a very light buttery taste.
A mellow sweetness and aroma, faint hints of fruit. Finish with a lingering hint of black pepper. Would revisit this occasionally.
