Nose: raisins, reminiscent of a passito as if part of the aging barrels were of that type. Powerful and full nose, really excellent: I'd be smelling it for hours. Palate: pungent, less marsala than the nose, here appears caramel, almonds, always raisins. He loses points. Medium short coffee finish. What can I say, for the sense of smell a superb thing, which however is lost in the rest especially when compared to the price. Rating 3.75 _______________________________________________________________ Naso: uvetta passa, ricorda un passito come se parte delle botti di invecchiamento fossero di quel tipo. Olfatto potente e pieno, davvero ottimo: starei ad annusarlo ore. Palato: pungente, meno marsalato dell’olfatto, qui compare caramello, mandorle, sempre uvetta. Perde punti. Finale medio breve al caffè. Che dire, per olfatto una cosa superba, che però si perde nel resto specialmente se paragonato al prezzo. Voto 3,75

Smooth, rich with nice suggestions of sherry. I had a Dalmore 18 open at the same time and it surely had some of it. The nose is impressive and the mouthfeel is creamy and slightly chewy. This deserves all the stars it can get ... Magical
