Appearance: Dark red Aroma: Blackcurrant, just as advertised. It’s like Ribena with alcohol. Taste & Texture: Not overly sweet, thank goodness, and with a light texture (it would be intolerable if it was syrupy and thick). There is no alcohol burn and it has a good berry flavour with just a little acidity and tartness to balance the sweetness. Not much more to add. This was one of four samples in a distillery-issued pack of Wild liqueurs and spirits and I thought it was one of the better ones. “Above Average” : 82/100 (3.25 stars)
