Sometimes you just need something sweet at the end of a long day. Perfect little sipper for any occasion and always good to bring to a party. Anybody (especially those who say they “can’t drink whisky”) can drink this one. Comparing it to the other honeys by the larger name brands, WT actually has the best balance of spice and sweet. JD is way too sweet and JM too spicy compared to this liquid gold.

The nose is mostly orange. Cinnamon too. Smells like it could be an old fashioned ready-to-drink. Similar flavors. Cinnamon really grabs hold and doesn’t let go. Went back to the bottle to make sure it didn’t say American Cinnamon. Nope. Cloying think mouthfeel that delivers the honey on the finish. Along with…. Yep… cinnamon.
My traveling buddy loves to bring a bottle of this wherever he goes. Up till the first to my pad. This I’ve never had a flavored bourbon before but I got in to them a little bit with the honey ones after this one.
Clear, amber appearance, with typical alcohol legs. Nose- faint honey and predominant grain alcohol. Similar flavor, but the hone does become more pronounced. Lots of sweetness. Syrupy body. Semi-sweet finish. RJT
As a beginner trying to get into whisky/bourbon, this was perfect. I haven’t tried much else, but everything I have tried thus far has completely slapped me in the face. This is super sweet and goes down smoothly.
Astringent with a burn on the nose with hints of charred oak, the palate is a sweet candy of floral honeys and vanilla bourbon, the finish is spiced like cinnamon.
