This bourbon was released by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, a family-owned independent company which owns this and many other whiskey labels as well as the Willett Distillery which was reopened in 2012. This is a single barrel bottling of a Kentucky straight bourbon and is bottle at barrel strength. Each label will display both the age and the proof as well as the barrel number.

Sophisticated, professional, and refined. Not blown away by the overall experience, but highly impressed by the level of expertise that shines through in this. Nose, palate, and finish are clearly identifiable and no blurriness in execution.
rich vanilla and caramel, nuances of oak blend into an earthy/herbal finish. drinking it neat, it has quite a bit of heat to it. on the rocks tames the heat and really lets this flavors shine.
Ive only had a few whiskeys. This one is so far the only one i like. I will have to go back and edit this the more i try!
Tasty and smooth for being 112 proof. Slight spice and nice baking spice notes. Not overly oaky. Great cold weather dram.
