NOSE: butter, apple, strawberries, flowers, honey PALATE: sweet fruit to sweet caramel butter, finish is gentle candied ginger. OVERALL: obviously similar in profile to Yamazaki distiller’s edition. If anything, slightly more balanced and rounded.
Aggressive taste that's not at all unpleasant. Tastes flowery and grainy, burn compliments the forward flavors. Herbal medicinal flavor underneath the grain that's kinda cool. This flavor lingers into the tail. Flavors are unique, points for that.
Mizunara and cherry nose with a black cherry and Mizunara oak taste. Long toasted lychee and Mizunara finish.
