Nose: Strong sherry and raisins dominate the nose, some molasses, and toffee as well. Sweet pipe tobacco and oak evolve as the whisky opens up. Palate: More toffee/caramel mix with aged tobacco and riped fruits like figs. More syrupy molasses, but more so in the mouthfeel and some of the sweetness. A sweet toasted nuttiness also develops as it opens up more. It has a lovely minty freshness to it all though Finish: More of that super-ripe fruit like sweet figs and raisins linger with hints of burnt sugar and honey.

This is really something special. Deep, rich flavours of damsons, plums and black and red berries. Outstanding, but hard to get as sells out almost instantly every year.
