While not quite worth of Jim Murray’s ranking of best whisky of the year (and this may not even be suntory’s best 2013 sherry cask release), still a great quissential example of sherry cask magic in Japan. Nose: Raisins, Sakura, Cranberries, Blackberries, Espresso, Gingerbread, Orange Peels, Sandalwood, Plums, Grapefruit, Papaya Palate: Dark Chocolate, Raisins, Prunes, Dates, Cloves, Morello Cherries, Strawberries, Blood Oranges, Christmas Cakes, Ginger, Cardamom, Stewed Apples, Figs, Kiwi Finish: Figs, Mocha, Burnt Orange Peels, Candied Ginger, Mince Pies, Morello Cherries, Strawberries, Blackberries
