Ingredients

2 oz Scotch whisky
1/4 oz Peated malt whisky
2 barspoon Honey
1 oz Dry vermouth

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 STIR honey with Scotch in base of shaker until honey dissolves.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. 5 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 6 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History

Honey enhances this blend of Scotch whisky, Islay malt, and dry vermouth.

Originally based on vodka with Bols honey liqueur, the honey component prompted the addition of blended Scotch whisky, followed by some Islay single malt.
