Delete your Spirlix account

Request that Spirlix delete your account and the personal data associated with it. This page is for the Spirlix website and the Spirlix mobile app.

How to request deletion

In the Spirlix app Open Profile, tap Delete account, and confirm. Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.

From this page If you have uninstalled the app, or prefer not to use it, send the request form below from the email address on your account.

By email Write to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Spirlix account." We process verified requests within 30 days.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. You must use one of the steps above.

Data we delete

When we process your request, we delete or permanently anonymize the following so it can no longer be linked to you:

  • Account profile: name, email address, and phone number
  • Sign-in credentials, including password and Google or Apple sign-in identifiers
  • Saved shelf, collection, ratings, tasting notes, and taste-finder answers tied to your account
  • Label and shelf scan photos, and the results associated with your account
  • Push notification tokens
  • Active Spirlix subscriptions we manage, which we cancel when the account is deleted

Data we keep

We retain only what we need to operate, comply with the law, or finish the request:

  • Aggregated or de-identified analytics that can no longer identify you, which we may keep indefinitely
  • Payment and subscription records required for tax, accounting, refunds, or fraud prevention. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also kept by that store under its own terms
  • This deletion request (name, email, and message) for up to 30 days so we can complete and confirm it, then longer only if the law requires it
  • Records we must keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms of Service

How long it takes

  • In the Spirlix app, deletion starts as soon as you confirm
  • Requests from this page or by email are processed within 30 days after we verify they came from the account holder
  • Payment records may be retained as required by tax and accounting law

Request deletion

Send this from the email on your Spirlix account. We typically reply within 24 hours and complete verified deletions within 30 days.
