Ingredients
1/4 oz Chartreuse Green
1 1/2 oz Cognac (brandy)
3/4 oz Walnut liqueur
1/2 oz Tawny port
How to make
Serve in a snifter/brandy balloon glass
Prepare
- 1 Select a SNIFTER/BRANDY BALLOON GLASS.
- 2 No garnish to prepare.
Method
- 3 POUR liqueur into pre-warmed glass then tilting and rotating to coat the inside with the liqueur.
- 4 DISCARD excess liqueur.
- 5 Carefully IGNITE liqueur inside the glass and allow to burn for a few seconds before extinguishing flame by placing a saucer over the glass.
- 6 Add other ingredients.
Garnish
- 7 Serve without garnish but tell drinker to beware of hot glass rim.

History
A fabulous cocktail, especially using VEP Chartreuse, reserve cognac, and 20-year-old tawny port as per the original.
