History

The name should perhaps serve as a warning, as should the ounce-and-a-half of Angostura Bitters. Intense Angostura flavour dominates this bittersweet lime sour.

This drink was created in 2009 by Maks Pazuniak and Kirk Estopinal. They were inspired by the Angostura Fizz (AKA Trinidad Fizz) found in Charles H. Baker's 1939 book, The Gentleman's Companion (Volume II).
