Ingredients

2 oz Vodka
1 barspoon Apricot jam/preserve
1 oz Cranberry juice
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1/2 oz Lime juice
2 dash Orange bitters

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of apricot wedge or dried apricot half.

Method

  1. 3 STIR apricot preserve with vodka until dissolved.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. 5 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 6 Garnish with apricot wedge or dried apricot half on rim.

History

Apricot preserve adds a flavoursome tang to this contemporary classic.

A variation on the classic Cosmopolitan, this cocktail was first made in 2004 at Aura Kitchen & Bar in London, England.
