1 1/2 oz Añejo tequila
1/2 oz Strega liqueur
1/2 oz Apricot liqueur
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/12 oz Orgeat syrup
4 drop Margarita Bitters
2 drop Saline solution 4:1

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of apricot wedge.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

  1. 5 Garnish with apricot wedge on rim.

History

An apricot Margarita with herbal notes.

The origin of this cocktail is unknown. The initial recipe consisted of 60ml añejo tequila, 15ml Strega, 15ml apricot brandy, and 30ml lime juice. Feedback indicated this was excessively sour, leading to an adaptation in December 2021 to address these comments.
