Ingredients

1/12 oz Absinthe
1 oz Rye whiskey 50% abv
1 oz Cognac (brandy)
1/2 oz Banana liqueur
1/12 oz Brown sugar syrup
1 dash Aromatic bitters

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon knotted pigtail zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 RINSE glass with absinthe, discard excess and set to one side.
  2. 4 STIR other ingredients with ice.
  3. 5 STRAIN into absinthe-rinsed glass. (No ice in glass.)

Garnish

  1. 6 EXPRESS lemon and lime zest twists over cocktail and discard.
