This drink is named for Barnum Was Right, a 1929 American comedy film that was released with sound and also as a silent version for theaters not equipped for sound. Only the silent version is served. Adapted from a recipe in Crosby Gaige's 1941 Crosby Gaige's Cocktail Guide & Ladies' Companion. Barnum Was Right ⅔ jigger Dry Gin ⅓ jigger Apricot Brandy Dash Lime Juice or Lemon 3 dashes Angostura Bitters Shake well with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass.
